Happy Day of Silence y'all!

I was able to participate for most of the day but since our Japanese class went on a field trip I ended up stretching the rules a bit ^^;;

We all got to head over to the Art Institute and see the special collection they are showing right now.
And O... M... G... We had the most boring tour guide in the history of ever.
I'm convinced that he didn't really know half of what he was talking about AND he pronounced everything wrong.

*looking at a big brush thing*

Guide: As you can see this was typically used for stirring things. *makes stirring motion*
Everyone else: ... =_=

Can you feel the awkward? DX

But the non-tour part of the museum trip was really fun and we also got to go to Benihana before hand ^w^

Later that night, my parents has some friends over for dinner and they brought they no good ch'llin with them.
I tried to move past my previous hatred of them and be the mature one but I quickly found out that that's not gonna happen. We were watching TV and there was some news story about homosexual public displays of affection and it showed a clip of two men kissing. At that point the brats literately gasped out loud and shielded their eyes.

OH HELL NAW! >O>

Needless to say: I still hate them.

So today is the national Day of Silence which is a protest against the discrimination of homosexuals. Basically you don't talk for an entire day symbolizing the silence that many homosexuals are forced to endure. Some of my friends and I are currently participating in this protest. So I haven't talked the entire day.
Now, my sister has apparently picked today to turn off her brain for awhile and here I am with my silence vow unable to make fun of her.

"What was that island in Japan that was bombed? Whoreshima?"
No joke. Whore-shima.
And last I checked, Hiroshima's not an island.
I grabbed a white board and wrote "YOU FAIL" on it but she didn't understand what that meant.
My dad corrected her and also reminded her about Nagasaki. My genius lil' sister replied:
"What's Nagasaki? It sounds like saganaki*."
-Cue Seizure-
This silence thing is more stressful than I thought...

*Saganaki is a type of greek food. Pretty damn yummy if I do say so myself ^^

EDIT: BOOOO!!! They're making a movie of Angels & Demons. They already ruined The Da Vinci Code and now they're gonna mess this one up too >:P
