Critique went well. Very well. So well that I'm kinda weirded out right now. =S
The girl before me really got torn apart and I was sitting in the back of the room freaking out. But when I went up, everything just worked. I really only got one critique and I totally agreed with it. I kinda had to BS my way through some of the questions but I think it worked out pretty well. ^^
Before I came here, I really tried to prepare myself to accept harsh critiques, but so far none of them have been that bad. Maybe I'm just overly critical of myself.
And like, there were several people who had barely started their projects (they're due Friday). O_O WTF people? I always hear about how other students (in my grade) barely get enough sleep and are staying up all night to finish projects and whatnot. I used to feel bad for them but now I just think they're lazy. I mean, this is my fourth week of school and I've managed to keep up with all my projects (not counting the president thing) and still get 8-ish hours of sleep every night. I always plan out my work schedule and keep a list of my priorities every week. It's really not that hard (and I'm usually a pretty lazy person). I'm starting to think EHS might have helped me after all.
Speaking of incomplete projects, that Dear President thing is due tomorrow and I'm nowhere near finished. I don't think it'll take me very long once I actually start but I'm just not in the mood right now (FIVE FREAKING HOURS OF CRITIQUE DAMMIT!). I'm really tempted to just hand in a sign that says "GOOD LUCK" and put a little heart in the corner or something. >3>
