I'm soooooooooooo bored right now...
So I'm just gonna ramble here a bit. =D

I just got my new bed!
Well, the pieces to it anyway.

I wanted something space efficient but I didn't want something really high up. My dad was googling some ideas when he came across this. I really like that it has a lot of room underneath it but still isn't too high. So we ordered one and are in the process of putting it together.

Don't worry though. Mine will look way better than the example pic.

I started staining it last night and I was all like: Staining will be fun! =D
...Until the mosquitos come for ya! DX

Long story short: I tried to swat at one and ended up with a black hand-print on my jeans... =_=

But yeah. It's gonna be tight.

I move-in on the 22nd y'all! Feel free to stop by and carry stuff for me have a look around.* ^^
Parking is gonna be a bitch though. Bring good walking shoes.

GAH! I'm trying to get some pictures of some stuff to put on DA but I keep shaking to much.
Stupid line drawings... ><

I have a ton of crap that I don't really like but I feel like I should just put it up anyway.
A lot of people seem to like my least favorite works the best. =S

Jazzie looks like she's stalking something.
She's making me nervous. O_O

Possibly The Best Commercial Airing Right Now. )

Oh, and the title was a question Mikachu asked me earlier. *facepalm*

*Seriously though, you'll have to carry some stuff.

Well, I went on a tour of CVA (College of Visual Arts) today.

Pros:
~Art = <3
~Even smaller than MCAD (about 200 students total)
~Absolutely adorable neighborhood (It has cobblestone streets and victorian style buildings ^o^)
~One of the main buildings is an old mansion (which is a little creepy but still cool)
~AMAZING view of the river from the mansion place

Cons:
~Buildings are too far apart (one is two miles away from the others and no transportation is provided)
~Horrible studio spaces (no windows, very basement-like)
~They don't feed you or house you (you're on your own there)
~All the students we met were really socially awkward

Overall, it's okay.
But I don't really feel like they presented themseleves very well.
Several times I caught them contradicting themselves or giving not entirely true information.
I don't think they did it intentionally, but it's still very unprofessional.
And the student representatives didn't make a whole lot of sense when they were talking to us.

"Yeah, I had my own place for like five months. Then my boyfriend moved in with me to cut the cost. But he's a design major and I'm an illustration major. So we don't get along very well."

...Then why is he your boyfriend?
She reminded me of a chihuahua =_=;;

I'll probably still apply but I'm not so keen on going there.
I'll just have to work extra hard to try and get into MCAD.

So I finally got around to looking at my ACT scores.
...I'm not pleased.
I mean I did okay considering that I was sick that day but okay is not good enough. I'm definitely gonna take it again and I'm also considering taking some kind of class to help me manage the time better.
-Grumble-

But on the bright side I just got my grades back and my GPA went up =D
And I didn't bomb my math final like I thought I did <3

So basically right now I'm looking at a mediocre ACT score but a damn good GPA. After looking at some of the colleges my counselor recommended I think I'm pretty safe but I'd still rather not take that chance.

Random question:
Does anyone know what the average ACT score for MCAD is?
Since only five people from our school applied for it this year they won't let us see any of the statistics on our school website dealy.

Got it ^^

Oi, I've been a busy little bee this weekend.

On Saturday morning I went on my first college tour to Hamline University and it made me want to shoot myself. I just sat there for like four hours as they talked about crap I didn't care about. I went on the special fine arts tour but apparently fine arts no longer actually includes any kind of drawing or painting stuff. It was only on music and theatre >.> After asking about what kind of painting classes they had they took me into the basement and showed me these two dilapidated little rooms filled with art stuff. I was extremely unimpressed with the skill of the paintings I saw there. I could have done loads better and I don't really think I'm that good anyway. But we got a free meal out of it so it wasn't a total waste of time (They had an ice cream machine <3)
Oh, and when we were driving back the car in front of us had UKE-635 for a license plate XD

Then I spent another four hours driving around town looking for this book I need for my history class because my SKANK of a teacher doesn't have enough copies for everyone. But I found some books for myself as well (Godchild vol. 5 came out early <3) so that put me in a better mood.

And since then I've been playing my new Pokemon Diamond game.
I'm already up to the fifth gym leader :3
