For the life of me I can't figure out how to scan in white pictures. Every time I take a picture it turns out gray and my scanner doesn't seem to like graphite. Even when I go out into direct sunlight it still looks really dark.

Help? ;o;

Ho boy.
I just finished my art class. We did end up having a nude male model come in but it wasn't as weird as I thought it would be. He had a lot of tattoos that were really hard to draw. But he was really nice and I actually got a pretty good drawing out of it. I'll see if I can get a picture of it on here someday.

Yesterday, I was watching this random show called America's Got Talent which is basically just like American Idol but not just for singing. Anyway, I was making some pizza when this one guy starts to sing for his act. I stopped and listened for a minute thinking that the song sounded really familiar.
And it hit me.
He was singing the english version of the opening to Romeo X Juliet XD!!!
I googled it and found out that the song was originally in English but was translated to Japanese and used for the show. It was still hella funny though.

I've also been going through an uber Christian Bale mood so I went out and rented The Machinist. Kay, so basically Christian lost 1/3 of his body weight for this movie and it was one of the most painful things I've ever seen. Every time he moved I thought he was about to snap in half ;_;
EAT A CHEESEBURGER MAN!!!
The movie itself was pretty good but it was just one big slow motion train wreck. Practically every five minutes I found myself yelling: "DON'T DO IT CHRISTIAN!" As painful as it was I still enjoyed it and would recommend renting it to any CB fans out there.

I also just came back from seeing Harry Potter. It was alright. I never really liked the 5th book very much and thought most of the movie was kinda boring. Not to mention that they f***ed up the only part I cared about. I hope that Harry dies in the last book cause young Daniel is really getting on my nerves.

At my art class today we had a model come and... Well... Model for us.
Naked.
The weirdest thing about it was that it didn't feel weird at all. Thankfully it was a woman cause A) I can't draw guys and B) I'd feel kinda uncomfortable staring at a naked man for three hours. I was also grateful that she wasn't really skinny as skinny people are hella hard to draw without clothes. If I wanted to draw a skeleton I'd buy an anatomy book PLZKTHX.

Oh, last night I went out to dinner with my mom, sister, and mom's friend and I heard "The Impression That I Get" on the radio. I was all like: "Hoshit, Digimon!" ^o^
I also heard a Delerium song while at MOA which is pretty rare. Before now I've only heard their music played in bookstores.

So y'all know that old Quizznos commercial with those creepy hamster thingys that sing?
Here's where they came from:

I just got back from my art class and it was so hella boring. Seriously, it is EXACLY like the art class I took at school (which I also didn't really like) except without any color or creativity and you can't sit down. They tell you what to draw, how to draw it, and what to draw it with.
-dies-
But I need a good portfolio so I guess I need to suck it up >_>

OH! OH!
But there was this board thing that had "MCAD survival tips" on it. One of the tips was to get plenty of sleep and it had a picture of three guys in a bed having a pillow fight. When my class was over I had to wait for a hour before my dad could pick me up so I found a Lavender and read it for awhile. It had the same picture in it for some sexy slumber party thing XD;;

I finally figured out how to get subtitles to work on my VLC player and am now caught up on Romeo X Juliet. I'm having fun trying to find all the different Shakespeare references (there's a bunch of stuff from his other works). Basically any character who isn't from Romeo & Juliet is from another play. I'm trying to see how many I can find.

Why do I love the history chanel?
They can get away with anything.

I'm serious. As long as it's a painting and not a real photograph, they can show whatever the hell they want. Awhile ago I was watching a program on the 18th century (or something like that) and it talked about how homosexuality was looked upon back then. Then out of nowhere they show these very graphic paintings of... well... Lets just say it was like 18th century Gakuen Heaven.
Me: O_O
History chanel has got some magical censor evading skillz.

Anyway, tomorrow I have my first art class over at MCAD. However, my parents can't pick me up on time. So if any of y'all are in the vicinity from 4-5:00 I'll be lurking around the art institute. Come visit? :3
